It seems the majority of people here are intent on submitting 100% self promotional spam and nothing else.

There is no way we can make this site as well used as Reddit if its all self promotion/spam/masterbation here. People will not every start to use it.

Can we not try to at least follow a 50/50 rule? For every one of your self promotion spammy links, can we not try to find one link from another source?

If reddit can come up with thousands of good links every day to attract viewers surely some of you can find ONE!?!
