A catch-all email mailbox is one that captures all the messages sent to invalid email addresses. For instance, if your email address is info@domain.com, but somebody miswrites it and sends a message to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have set up. Just one mailbox per domain name can have this feature activated and in this way you will never miss messages because the other party has an outdated address or has made a typographical error. The disadvantage of setting up a catch-all mailbox is that you may begin receiving plenty of unsolicited bulk emails, but this problem can be solved by using an anti-spam protection solution. It is also essential to remember that a mailbox with an activated catch-all functionality cannot redirect incoming emails to a 3rd-party address.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Website Hosting

You will be able to create a catch-all email mailbox without difficulty if you have a shared website hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager in our custom-built Hepsia Control Panel is feature-rich, yet really user-friendly, and it will allow you to activate different options, including the catch-all one, with just a few mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you have created will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and next to each one you will see a small "Catch-all" sign. Clicking on it once will enable the feature, clicking it once again will deactivate it. Since you can have only one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will inform you if you already have a different one with this option enabled or if you have activated email forwarding.
